Ghost is very good at writing one post. It is much less interested in the other job — the thousand posts already published, the tags nobody tidied, the calendar in a spreadsheet, and the eight people who need accounts by Monday. These four are for that job, and they're all free.
The problem
Everything in Ghost is one at a time.
One post open, one field changed, one save. Fine for today's story. Less fine when a section gets renamed and four hundred posts need retagging, or a contributor leaves and their byline is on six years of work, or somebody typed "Local News" one week and "local news" the next and now you have both forever.
The usual answers are a long afternoon, a risky CSV round-trip, or a script you'd rather not write. These four do the tedious version properly: they show you the blast radius first, they work on everything at once, and where it matters they let you undo the whole run.

Retag the archive. Move a byline. Flip posts from public to members-only. Tidy titles. All the things Ghost makes you do one post at a time, done to the whole selection at once. If you got attached to the old Phantom Admin, you'll recognise the idea — Bulk Actions is the version that kept going.
Tag Wrangler free
Merge the duplicates Ghost won't.
Ghost has no merge, so near-duplicates breed quietly — Local News, local-news, Local. Pick the one to keep, drag the others onto it, and every post and page carrying them gets rewritten. You see the count before you commit, and the whole run can be undone if it wasn't what you meant.
Editorial Board free
The calendar that's currently a spreadsheet.
What's drafted, who it's assigned to, what's scheduled, and what's been promised but not written yet — on one screen. The point is seeing next Tuesday's hole on this Thursday, while there's still time to fill it.
Staff Creator free
Add the whole masthead at once.
Ghost can import staff in bulk, but only from a file it won't help you make. Staff Creator makes the file. Useful when you're migrating a publication, onboarding a team, or simply out of patience with the admin panel.
