Recent posts
The posts matching your tags and date range, in the style you pick: headline and excerpt, with or without the image, with a Read more button, as bookmark or product cards, as a bulleted list, or the full text.
Your standing content
The welcome line, the donate ask, the footer — anything that reads the same every issue lives as a Ghost page, or a draft post if you want email-only cards in it, and drops in with or without its title and image.
This week's events
The upcoming list from your Haunts calendar, laid out the way you already export it: start today or a few days out, cover a week or a month, cap the count, link every event back to your calendar.
A sponsor's ad
A newsletter slot from the Itty Bitty Ad Server. Sell the slot once; each reader sees one of its ads, rotated by weight as they open the email, and opens and clicks land in the same analytics as your web ads.
Share buttons
The circle-style buttons from the sharing tool, pointing at the issue itself, in your site's accent color. You pick the platforms.
The weather
A local forecast box, the way a community newsletter usually opens. US locations, from the National Weather Service.
A question for your readers
Write this week's question in Polls and queue it for the newsletter. The next issue picks it up, links the poll to that issue so email votes land on its page, and keeps a tally per issue. Or run the same poll in every issue, if the question doesn't change.
